Welcome to Let ’em Rack!
I started this website in the hopes of helping long lost Saddlebred folks, such as myself, find their way back into the fold. I had been out of the loop for around 25 years, since moving out to California. I asked every horse person I met in those years, if they knew of any Saddlebred barns and all I got, if not blank stares, were plenty of hunter/jumper and western places. I would go on a trail ride or two, but the search continued. Enter the Internet. I started searching there and what I would find would be bike seats, bar stools, or saddlebags for Harleys. In the past few years, I did notice more info going up on the web and Facebook helped a lot too. I found lots of my old friends from Harmswood Stables and most importantly, places to ride Saddlebreds and shows to go to!
That’s when I decided to put all the information I could find in one place and I created this website. I took lots of website design classes and I had such a blast creating this that I decided to then offer my services (and that of my computer programming husband) to the world at large. So check out our website design and maintenance packages.
Last year, I also took the Equine Event Management classes offered by USEF through UC Davis. I then decided that what the world needed was another place to enter horse shows online and the software to go with it, as there are so few. This is still in development, which is why it’s not up on the site yet, but we’re very close! Check back soon!
